Self Consciousness, Male vs. Female

# males who rated self consciousness (SC) 7,8, or 9: 252. # females who rated SC 7,8,9: 369. # males who rated SC 5-9: 369. # females who rated SC 5-9: 849. Although females in this sample are 11.3% more likely than males to rate their SC at 7-9 (45% female vs. 40% male) and females are 3.1% more likely than males to rate their self-consciousness at levels 5-9 (61% female vs. 59% male), three separate chi square tests revealed that the differences in the distribution are statistically insignificant at CI 95%. (Not totally sure if this was a correct usage of the Chi Square test.)
